A Video Scavenger Hunt
Fall 2007

Everyone loves a scavenger hunt! Everyone has been on a scavenger hunt! Now you’ll have the opportunity to go on a scavenger hunt with a digital video camera!

You will include the following shots in your scavenger hunt:
1. Video a dramatic earthquake scene
2. Travel the hall outside of our room as if you were The Crocodile Hunter in the wild
3. Enact an egg hatching, with one of your group members coming out of the eggshell!!
4. Video a team member acting like a duck
5. Capture a short “pantomime” scene
6. Recite a poem in the middle of the classroom
7. Take a nap in a place you wouldn’t normally take a nap


Key elements to include:
-NO ZOOMING
-Title Card-Credits card
-Narration and/or simple text titles as narration prior to each scavenger hunt item.
-Each group member is responsible for recording 3 of these shots (share the work!)
-Keep the camera super steady-try not to move it very much-let your subjects do the movement!
-Communicate directions to your subjects!
